Manchester United’s top transfer target Paul Pogba has allegedly agreed personal terms with the club.
Juventus are said to be asking for 100 million pounds from Pogba’s suitors, but Spanish outlet Marca reports that the fee could be reduced following his disappointing performance for Les Bleus at the just concluded Euro 2016. Pogba, a former Manchester United player, has been linked with a move back to his former club for the better part of this summer’s transfer window.

The 23-year-old joined the Serie A outfit in 2012 after he was unceremoniously released by the Premier League giants under the stewardship of legendary manager Sir Alex Ferguson. There have been endless debates regarding his actual market value but the Old Lady insist they will not release him for less than 100 million pounds.
Further reports in Italy suggest that the Turin-based club is willing to offer the French star a new contract. He currently earns approximately 120,000 pounds a week with Juve, but the improved deal could make him earn 150,000 a week.
This comes at a time when new Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho insists that he is looking to sign a ‘specialist’ as the fourth signing for the Red Devils. Sources inside Old Trafford point fingers at Pogba, who recently admitted that he did not know what he would do if Mourinho called him over a transfer to his former club.
Spanish publication Marca also adds that the player will be given a five-year contract and earn 208,000 a week at Old Trafford. But his possible move to Manchester has been criticized by French legend Emmanuel Petit. Earlier this week, he revealed:
“They say £100m…..it is a waste of money for me. Pogba has a great future, but this move is too early for him. I don’t like the situation around him all the time. We are making him out to be a big star, but he is not a big star to me. He hasn’t reached the level of the Champions League yet or the level with the national team. I am pretty sure he can do it, but this is too early for him.”
Pogba is currently enjoying his holiday in Los Angeles after the European Championship. Several photos doing rounds on the internet show the Juventus star hanging out with Man Utd’s new signing Zlatan Ibrahimovic. The two superstars share the same agent Mino Raiola, which is yet another reason to keep the Man Utd fans optimistic of signing the tall midfielder.
