Athletic Bilbao will host Eibar on Sunday as part of the Primera Matchday 14, which will be the second of four matches in just 10 days for the home side. 



Eibar travel to Bilbao for their Matchday 14 clash to Athletic hoping to continue the hot streak with a fourth win in a row and possibly join the league top 5! However, they have been in an unpredictable form and it’s doubtful if they have the depth in quality to beat a great home side such as the squad from Baskia.

While Athletic have earned just one win in their last five Primera matches, the picture doesn’t serve them justice. Ernesto Valverde’s team have been much better at home across competitions throughout the season, with just one loss there (0-1 to Barcelona in August).

They have been very confident in front of the home crowd bagging ten goals in six league games and taking 13 of their 20 points there so far so they'll head into the match as favourites with the home advantage.

The visitors will not be a sitting duck indeed but they haven’t really impressed on their away days. Mendilibar’s team have earned just one win and five away points total this season and it will not be easy for them at San Mames Barria.

Nonetheless, they have been scoring away goals (failed to net at least one just once – at Las Palmas) and Athletic are not the best defence in the league so we expect to see goals on Sunday too!

Aritz Aduriz has had a great season so far with five league goals and six more in the Europa League. The 35-year-old striker has been leading the Rojiblancos fiercely and he could prove to be key on
