Bayern Munich vs. Arsenal Predictions & Match Stats

Bayern Munich vs. Arsenal predictions for Wednesday’s Champions League clash at Allianz Arena. Arsenal travel to Munich hoping to surprise Bayern and snatch anything from this fixture ahead of the return match in front of the home fans.

Bayern Munich vs. Arsenal Predictions

Arsenal have ended their two-match losing streak with a narrow win over Hull City with two goals from Alexis Sanchez on Saturday (2-0), and the Gunners now travel to Munich hoping they can cause an upset at Allianz Arena! However, this will be a very difficult task as in-form Bavarians have excelled in front of their home fans, not losing a single match there since March 2016, and it’s difficult backing against them today.

Bayern come into the match on the back of a 12-match unbeaten streak where they’ve earned 11 wins and one draw. While the visitors would certainly be satisfied snatching a draw, Bavarians do look set to bag an advantage ahead of the difficult away day at Emirates.

Bayern Munich vs. Arsenal Stats

The teams have last met in 2015 in Champions League Group F, where Arsenal earned a 2-0 win at home but were outclassed at this ground with a 5-1 loss. This was only the third win for Wenger’s side, whereas Bayern earned five and two draws in the process. We have seen some very early goals in their head-to-head encounters and we definitely expect a furious start here too!
