Wolves manager Mick McCarthy insists he will not be making an approach for Michael Mancienne – for now.
The 22-year-old utility player, who has had two successful loan spells at Molineux, is believed to have handed in a transfer request at parent club Chelsea.
And while McCarthy has admitted he is a fan of Mancienne, he insists Wolves will not be making any more new signings for the time being.
The former Republic of Ireland boss said: “I’m not looking at signings at all at the moment.
“We need to lose some players rather than take any more in and certainly won’t do any more business unless anyone leaves.”
