Wolves are planning to sell striker Stefan Maierhofer this summer.
The 27-year-old joined from Rapid Vienna this time last year but has struggled to make an impact at Molineux, making just nine appearances and going out on loan to Championship side Bristol City.
And the player’s agent Max Hagmayr confirmed to skysports.com: “We are talking to some clubs about Stefan and there has been interest in Germany, but nothing concrete as yet.
“Normally Stefan wants to stay and play at Wolverhampton, but he has been informed that he should go as the manager does not count on him.
“We will now wait and see what offers come in for Stefan.”
