West Ham have signed striker Victor Obinna on a season-long loan from Inter Milan, with a view to making the move permanent.
The Hammers have scored only one goal in two Premier League games, with that coming from the penalty spot, and boss Avram Grant has been keen to add some firepower.
And the former Portsmouth manager believes he has found his man in Obinna, who has fallen out of favour at Inter Milan under new coach Rafael Benitez.
The 23-year-old Nigerian, who saw a move to Everton fall through two years ago due to work permit issues, is the sixth new face at Upton Park this summer, following Thomas Hitzlsperger, Frederic Piquionne, Winston Reid, Pablo Barrera and Tal Ben Haim to the club.
