Ajax striker Miralem Sulejmani has blasted boss Martin Jol for blocked a loan move to West Ham.
The Serbian frontman, 21, was set to join the Hammers on a season-long loan with a view to a permanent deal.
But following the departures of several key players and with Jol reportedly fearing the sale of prolific hitman Luis Suarez, he blocked the Sulejmani’s switch.
And the player told AD Sportwereld: “I really don’t understand why Jol vetoed my move. It looks like he’s trying to ruin my career.
“I was looking forward to relaunching myself at West Ham. (West Ham boss) Avram Grant sees me as a big talent I’m keen to make a fresh start elsewhere.”
