Tom Huddlestone is set to end a four-month stint on the sidelines when Tottenham face Wigan Athletic on April 2.
The 24-year-old midfielder has been out of action since undergoing ankle surgery last November.
But Huddlestone has now returned to training with the first-team and manager Harry Redknapp believes he will be ready to go following the international break.
Redknapp told Spurs’ official website: “Tom's a fantastic footballer and it's great to have him back training.
“We've two weeks now where we can really work with him and hopefully get him ready for the next game.
“There is no reason why he shouldn't make that with a fortnight's training.”
However, the England international faces a fight to regain his place in the starting XI with summer signing Sandro having established himself in the holding midfield role in recent weeks.
Redknapp added: “They are all good players and Tom is another good player, so it's good to have him back.”
