Tottenham defender Ledley King has been forced to delay his groin operation.
The 30-year-old centre-back was scheduled to travel to Germany this week to undergo surgery in a bid to solve the problem, which has troubled him for much of this season.
But manager Harry Redknapp has revealed King is still in England having been unable to fly out because he had lost his passport.
Redknapp told the London Evening Standard: “He should have had his operation today. He couldn't make it. Why? It's a long story. It's next week now.
“He couldn't find his passport, so he couldn't fly out to have it done. He mislaid it. He was going to see a lady in Germany.”
