Fast-rising star Gareth Bale insists he has no plans to leave Tottenham.
The 21-year-old full-back is in the form of his life at the moment, following up his hat-trick against Inter Milan with two-assist performance in the win over the Italian giants in the return game.
And Bale’s string of fine displays have reportedly earned him the attention of Spanish giants Barcelona and Real Madrid are thought to be interested in Bale.
But the Welshman, signed for £5m from Southampton in 2007, is happy to remain at White Hart Lane, where he under contract until 2014.
He told BBC Sport: “Yes, as I said I want to keep playing at Tottenham and keep enjoying my football.
“I’m just enjoying playing and enjoy playing at Tottenham at the moment. We’ve got a lot to look forward to.”
And Bale, who was backup to Benoit Assou-Ekotto until this season, admits all the attention is “surreal”.
He added: “I’m not sure what all the fuss is about, it’s a bit surreal. Every football knows it comes with the game if you’re doing well. It’s kind of nice.
“Being viewed as a ‘hot property’ does not make me feel any different than I have been feeling.”
