Tottenham manager Harry Redknapp believes David Beckham wants to make a loan move to White Hart Lane.
Spurs boss Redknapp is keen to land the former England captain on a temporary deal until the end of the season, with the Major League Soccer season having come to a close.
And he believes ex-Manchester United man Beckham will be interested in making a return to the Premier League with the North London club.
Redknapp told Sky Sports News: “I think David would be interested. I think he'd fancy coming here.
“It tells you everything about the man when he could be sat at home and he wants to come here and play football.
“He doesn't need to do it for the money. He wants to play and that's why he wants to come here. I think he'd like to come here. He'd be great to have around here.
“I had Teddy (Sheringham) at Portsmouth and I used to say to the players there 'watch him'. There's no better way of coaching players than letting them watch good players.
“I spoke to the chairman about it. We've made contact with LA Galaxy. If it's doable I'd like to do it.”
