Sunderland boss Steve Bruce believes Tottenham are unlikely to sell Peter Crouch this summer.
Bruce is looking for another striker following the sale of Kenwyne Jones to Stoke, and the former Manchester United defender has admitted his interest in Crouch.
But having approached Spurs about the striker’s availability, with newspaper reports suggesting Harry Redknapp is looking to offload Crouch, Bruce claims a deal is unlikely.
He said: “I’ve heard from Harry and I don’t think he’ll let Crouch go.”
