Stoke winger Liam Lawrence claims Celtic are ready to step up their interest in him in the coming weeks.
Bhoys boss Neil Lennon is reportedly ready to make an approach for the Republic of Ireland international once he has sold winger Aiden McGeady.
And Lawrence, 28, confirmed his agent has heard from the Scottish giants.
He told ‘Why Delilah’: “My agent has had another couple of calls and so it is still going on.
“Something could be happening in the next couple of weeks.”
Lawrence also took the time to rubbish rumours that any possible exit would be down to a bust-up with Stoke manager Tony Pulis.
He said: “I’ve read and heard stuff and some people have asked me if I’ve fallen out with the gaffer.
“But anybody watching us out here in Austria over the past week will have seen the banter between us and seen there is no problem.”
