Stoke are set to sign former Manchester City and Everton goalkeeper Carlo Nash.
The 36-year-old left the Toffees after making just one appearance in two years, and is poised to pen a 12-month deal with the Potters after joining up with them for the pre-season tour of Austria.
Pulis, who signed Nash on loan three seasons ago, told Stoke’s official website: “Carlo know us and we know him.
“He is a top goalkeeper who did a fantastic job for this football club during the promotion-winning season.
“He was out of contract at Everton and he is at the age now where he is happy to be third choice for us. I know if he is called upon he will do a fantastic job.
“He has a great attitude and I am delighted he is here with us.”
