Stoke manager Tony Pulis has rubbished reports he is interested in West Ham striker Carlton Cole.
The Potters were reported to have made a failed £9m bid for striker Cole at the weekend, with winger Matthew Etherington welcoming reports of a possible reunion with his former Hammers team-mate.
But Pulis insisted: “There’s no truth in it whatsoever. They’ve got to fill their papers and fill their television programmes.
“I’ll do all of my business with the clubs that I’m dealing with.”
The Potters boss added that forwards James Beattie and Dave Kitson could still have futures at the Britannia Stadium.
“They’re both Stoke players, we still pay them and at the moment they’re working as hard as the others to keep fit,” he continued.
“If we need them for next season, we need them for next season.”
