Cagliari coach Roberto Donadoni does not want his side to underestimate Sampdoria when the two teams go head-to-head tonight.
The Rossoblu are currently enjoying a fine run of form with three wins from four games while their hosts have failed to win any of their last three games, and they recently sold leading goalscorer Giampaolo Pazzini to add to their supporters’ current misery.
But Donadoni believes Samp are more than capable of ending their slump at any time and he does not want it to be at the expense of his side.
The former Italy international said: “Sampdoria have some problems but, with a team like theirs, they are designed to solve those and give a different complexion to their season.
“We will do our best and play like Cagliari - with respect and without fear.”
Cagliari scraped past rock-bottom Bari, 2-1, last time out while Sampdoria were thumped 4-0 by Napoli.
