Napoli coach Walter Mazzarri has urged his side not to throw away all of their hard work during the run-in.
Partenopei have been Serie A’s surprise package this season and are second in the table with just six games remaining, six points behind league leaders AC Milan.
A place in next season’s Champions League would be a major accomplishment for Napoli and with his side battling Inter Milan, Lazio, Udinese and Roma for a place, Mazzarri has told them not to blow their big chance.
Speaking ahead of today’s clash with Udinese, he said: “We have done so much already and we just hope not throw away all the good work in our last six games.
“No-one expect us to be in this position at this stage of the campaign but we are just focusing on ourselves.
“With respect to AC Milan and Inter, we have a more challenging rival this weekend because Udinese, even without (Antonio) Di Natale and (Alexis) Sanchez, are a great side.”
While Napoli head into this game on the back of four successive wins having beaten Bologna 2-0 last time out, Udinese will be looking to bounce back from back-to-back defeats to Lecce and Roma.
