Napoli goalkeeper Morgan De Sanctis is determined to see the Naples club finish in the top three this season.
Partenopei are currently third in the Serie A standings, three points ahead of in-form Udinese with just nine games remaining in the campaign.
And De Sanctis has urged his team-mates to make one final push to book a place in next season’s Champions League group stage.
Speaking ahead of today’s visit of Cagliari, he said: “Our aim is to finish among the top three teams.
“In order for us to achieve that, we have to try to extend our gap with Udinese, who are enjoying a great run of form.
“It would be very important for us to qualify directly to the Champions League without having to go through the preliminary round.
“We just have to give everything we have in each game and not get obsessed by the results of the other teams.”
While Napoli ran out 3-1 winners at Parma, Cagliari were hammered 4-0 at home to Udinese last time out.
