Lazio goalkeeper Fernando Muslera believes today’s clash with Bari is a must-win game if they are to qualify for the Champions League.
The Biancocelesti topped Serie A in the early months of the season but now sit fourth in the table, the final qualifying spot for a place in European club football’s biggest competition.
But there are a host of teams in the race for a place in the Champions League, and Muslera knows they must continue to rack up victories if they want to maintain their current position at least.
He said: “At this point we are at a crossroads and if we can maintain our form we can do well.
“We have to try to remain in this position until the end.”
Muslera added: “It's going to be a very hard game (against Bari). They will come here ready to take three crucial points in their battle to avoid relegation.
“Last year we lost against them at home and now we want to make amends.”
Lazio head into this game on the back of a 2-0 win at Bresci, while rock-bottom Bari held Genoa to a goalless draw last time out.
