AC Milan chief executive Adriano Galliani has called for focus ahead of Sunday’s trip to Fiorentina.
Milan have racked up six successive victories heading into this game, easing to a 3-0 win over fierce rivals Inter Milan last weekend, and are now two points clear at the top of Serie A.
But Galliani has warned the Rossoneri against becoming complacent as they attempt to wrap up the scudetto.
He said: “We will go to Florence with the same approach as always. The team is really motivated.
“We are leading the standings for the 21st week, and we will still do so regardless of what happens this weekend.
“At this point we have the duty to try to win the scudetto.
“In our last five games, we have beaten Napoli, Juventus and Inter while clinching just one point from our games against Bari and Palermo.
“We must remain focused.”
While AC Milan head into this game on the back of their derby success, Fiorentina drew 2-2 with Cesena last time out.
