Udinese coach Francesco Guidolin has urged his side to keep their feet on the ground in the final few months of their Serie A campaign.
Zebrette are currently sixth in the Italian top flight and enter Sunday’s visit to Cesena just two points behind Lazio, who occupy the final qualifying berth for the Champions League.
But Guidolin has told his team they must fully concentrate on the task at hand this season and not future glamour ties with Europe’s elite clubs.
He said: “Things are going well for us but it's not possible to keep up this run until the end.
“My team has always played good football even when results did not go our way.
“We are happy now and we want to try to keep our current position in the standings until the end, which would guarantee us European football next season.
“But we have to remain humble and not look too far ahead.
“We just need to put the same determination and courage that we have shown in recent games and wait until the end to see where that takes us.”
Udinese head into this game on the back of a 2-0 victory over Sampdoria, while Cesena were beaten 2-0 by high-flying Napoli last time out.
