Udinese have set their sights on qualifying for Europe ahead of today’s trip to Cagliari.
Zebrette are in superb form at the moment having not lost in their last 11 games, and they currently hold a Europa League qualifying berth, four points clear of sixth-placed Roma, and are just one point behind Lazio in the final Champions League qualifying spot.
And despite playing down their chances of reaching Europe in the past, defender Juan Cuadrado has admitted the team believe they can now complete a memorable season.
He said: “We are a great team. We will do everything possible to defend our current position and qualify for Europe. Destiny is in our hands.
“We have to continue to play with the same concentration and take it one game at a time.
“To finish the campaign in the top six would be a great result for us.”
While Udinese head into this game on the back of a 1-0 win over Bari, Cagliari battled to a 2-2 draw with Bologna.
