Abel Hernandez is keen to put a traumatic week behind him when Palermo visit Bologna later today.
Striker Hernandez was robbed at gun-point while returning home from training in midweek, and the 20-year-old is desperate to get back to work as he deals with the terrifying experience.
He said: “It was terrible. It was a very bad day but luckily my family are here in Palermo and they were able to console me.”
Hernandez added: “I just want to leave behind this ugly incident.
“I'm good at Palermo, I never had any problems with the city, this is just an unfortunate episode.
“My goal now is to get straight back on the field, to think about the challenge of Bologna, which is really important for our season.”
Palermo’s most recent Serie A outing ended in a 4-2 defeat at the hands of Fiorentina, while hosts Bologna suffered a disappointing 3-1 loss to Sampdoria.
