Napoli coach Walter Mazzarri has compared tonight’s clash with Serie A leaders AC Milan to a cup final.
The Azzurri, currently third in the table, head to the San Siro knowing that a victory would see them go joint top with their hosts on 55 points, although Milan have a better goal difference.
And Mazzarri said: “The game in Milan is like a final.
“We will go there without any fear, trying to impose our play and take home a very important win.”
Milan striker Robinho agrees with Napoli boss Mazzarri, admitting the game is hugely important in the race for the scudetto.
The Brazilian said: “We cannot fail against Napoli. This is a hugely important game in view of the standings.
“Every game from now on is crucial for us and we must take the win.”
Napoli kept themselves firmly in the Serie A title hunt with a 1-0 victory over Catania in their most recent domestic outing, while AC Milan battled to a 2-1 victory at Chievo Verona.
