AC Milan v Bari live preview

Football News Staff - 13 Mar 2011
AC Milan striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic is refusing to dwell on the club’s Champions League exit.

Milan failed to overturn a one-goal deficit in the second leg of their last-16 tie with Tottenham this week, and they must now wait until next season to get another crack at Europe.

But they are top of Serie A, four points clear of second-placed Inter Milan, and remain in the Coppa Italia, and Ibrahimovic is content to challenge for those honours this season.

Speaking ahead of today’s clash with rock-bottom Bari, the Sweden international told Milan’s official website: “We're still in the running for the Serie A title and the Italian Cup, so from now on we have to concentrate on these competitions.

“Now we're eying the other two trophies. Next season, I'll try it again in the Champions League with Milan.

“I'm happy here. The Champions League is not the most important thing. For me it's fundamental to feel good on and off the field, and I do here at Milan.”

While AC Milan beat Juventus, 1-0, in their most recent domestic outing, Bari were plunged into further relegation trouble by a 1-0 defeat to Udinese.
