AC Milan supremo keen on Kaka return

Football News Staff - 15 Mar 2011
AC Milan president Silvio Berlusconi admits he would be more than happy to bring Kaka back to the San Siro.

The Brazilian has struggled to make an impact at Real Madrid and has been linked with a return to the Serie A giants this summer, with Chelsea and Manchester City also believed to be interested in the player.

Kaka spent six years with Milan before making the switch to Madrid in 2009, and Berlusconi would welcome the sight of the 28-year-old midfielder back in the red and black.

He told Gazzetta dello Sport: “Getting back with Kaka? We are here waiting with open arms.

“Of course we would be interested in him. He is as great a player as he is a great person.

“I have not talked about money. I haven't spoken to (vice-president Adriano) Galliani about this either.

“We know nothing (about Kaka’s future with Real Madrid), but we're here with open arms.”
