Tottenham v Stoke City preview

Football News Staff - 8 Apr 2011

Tottenham have doubts over winger Aaron Lennon ahead of Saturday’s clash with Stoke City. (kick-off 15.00 GMT)

Lennon was forced to pull out of the midweek Champions League defeat to Real Madrid because of illness, and boss Harry Redknapp will leave it late to decide if the wide-man will face the Potters.

Redknapp also has doubts over defensive pair Vedran Corluka (ankle) and William Gallas (knee), as well as midfielder Niko Kranjcar (foot).

And the Spurs boss continues to deal with a lengthy injury list that includes Alan Hutton (knee), Ledley King, Steven Pienaar (both groin), Younes Kaboul, Jonathan Woodgate (both calf) and Wilson Palacios (knee).

Stoke City, meanwhile, have been dealt a major blow with the news Danny Higginbotham is facing six months on the sidelines after rupturing his cruciate knee ligament.

There has been some good news for manager Tony Pulis on the injury front, however, with Thomas Sorensen (back), Abdoulaye Faye (hamstring), Jermaine Pennant and John Carew (back) all in the frame to feature at White Hart Lane.
