Blackpool will be without key midfielder David Vaughan for Saturday’s clash with fellow strugglers Wigan Athletic. (kick-off 15.00 BST)
Vaughan is sidelined with a hip injury and the Seasiders are fearing he could spend the rest of the season on the sidelines, which would be a major blow to their fight against relegation with David Carney (shoulder) and Chris Basham (broken leg) already missing.
Richard Kingson is set to remain in goal despite the return to training of Matt Gilks following a broken kneecap, with Paul Rachubka remaining on the bench.
Meanwhile, Wigan Athletic manager Roberto Martinez has the luxury of being to select from an almost full squad with Callum McManaman back from a head injury.
While the Latics do have no injury concerns to deal with, they will be missing Honduras international Maynor Figueroa through suspension after he picked up his 10th booking of the season in the defeat at Chelsea.
