Robinho has ended his Manchester City nightmare by joining AC Milan in a permanent switch believed to be worth £22m.
The 26-year-old Brazil international failed to make an impact in the Premier League following his staggering £32.5m move from Real Madrid on deadline day in August 2008.
Robinho was subsequently shipped out on loan to Brazilian club Santos, who were eager to retain his services, but has now agreed a four-year deal with Milan.
A statement released by the Serie A giants read: “AC Milan announces it has acquired player Robinho on a permanent deal from Manchester City.
“The Brazilian player has signed a four-year contract with the Rossoneri club.”
