Emmanuel Adebayor and Shay Given will not be leaving Manchester City before the transfer deadline, according to Sky Sports News.
Both players had been linked with a move away from Eastlands after falling down the pecking order.
Striker Adebayor has been linked with Real Madrid since Mario Balotelli arrived from Inter Milan, and in recent days rumours had suggested the former Arsenal could make a loan move to Tottenham.
Republic of International Given, meanwhile, has lost the battle with Joe Hart to be City’s number one goalkeeper and a move to Fulham has been speculated.
However, City boss Roberto Mancini is believed to have held talks with both players and convinced them that their future is at Eastlands.
