Carlos Tevez could make Brazil move, claims agent

Football News Staff - 22 Feb 2011
Carlos Tevez would be open to a return to former club Corinthians, according to his agent Kia Joorabchian.

Tevez has been in superb form for City this season but it has not been plain-sailing, with the Argentinian handing in a transfer request at the end of last year before performing a U-turn.

The 27-year-old has repeatedly spoken of his disillusionment with the game and has often hinted that he could retire early, and representative Joorabchian has now revealed his client could one day return to Brazil with Corinthians, who he left for West Ham in 2006.

Joorabchian told TV Gazeta: “I want to help Corinthians in their sporting quest and I can guarantee that Carlos Tevez would be happy to return to Brazil and play for Corinthians.

“Ideally I would like a deal to be done swiftly, but in reality it will probably take time.

“I also want to bring in three more players to make this the best club in the Americas. My desire would be to get Heurelho Gomes (of Tottenham), Anderson (of Manchester United) and Nilmar (of Villarreal).

“Money will not be a problem. Carlos loves Brazil and I think this is all very feasible.”
