San Jose Earthquakes are looking to make it two wins in a row when they host Seattle Sounders tonight.
The Earthquakes bounced back from a season-opening defeat to Real Salt Lake with a 2-0 victory over FC Dallas, with Chris Wondolowski netting both goals.
Wondolowski has now netted the team’s last 12 goals in regular-season action, but coach Frank Yallop is not concerned by the lack of goals coming from the rest of his squad.
Yallop said: “It’s a good thing, because he’s hot and he’s scoring.
“Yes, it would be nice obviously for someone else to score, but I think that the team is producing great efforts and chances for our top striker right now.
“It’s no difference to many top teams in the world, where they kind of rely on one guy.”
Seattle Sounders, meanwhile, are still looking for their first victory of the 2011 Major League Soccer campaign having followed up their defeat to Los Angeles Galaxy with a draw against Houston Dynamo.
