Unbeaten New England Revolution are aiming to make it two wins from two games when they host Portland Timbers tonight.
The Revolution began their 2011 Major League Soccer campaign with a draw against x and then registered their first victory with a 2-1 win over DC United last weekend.
And four points from the opening two games has left the team flying, according to midfielder Pat Phelan.
He said: “There are so many doubts coming into the season off of our results from last year. Would we have enough quality to get the points?
“And it’s still really early in the season and we shouldn’t be holding our heads too, too high, but we are flying high and we’re excited now.”
Portland Timbers, meanwhile, are yet to pick up a point in the inaugural campaign having lost to Colorado Rapids and Toronto FC so far.
