Houston Dynamo are looking to bounce back from a disappointing 2010 campaign when they kick-off the 2011 season tonight.
Dynamo won only nine games last season to finish seventh in the Western Conference, and they are keen to return to the post-season this time around.
However, they must start their season without star man Brian Ching because of a hamstring injury, with coach Dominic Kinnear set to turn to rookie Will Bruin in his absence.
And Bruin told the Houston Chronicle: “Hopefully, Brian can heal up quick so he can come back.
“Obviously, when he’s on the field, there’s just a different feel about it.
“I’m looking forward to playing Philly. Hopefully, I can get in the game, get some playing time and do some good things.”
