Standard Liege v Gent live preview

Standard Liege will be looking to overturn a one-goal deficit when they host Gent tonight in the second leg of their Cofidis Cup semi-final.

The two teams met in the first leg at Jules Ottenstadion three weeks ago and Yassine El Ghanassy netted the solitary goal as current holders Gent ran out 1-0 winners.

Since then Liege have been in fine form, recording back-to-back wins over Germinal Beerschot and Anderlecht, and they will be looking to make it three-in-a-row at the expense of Gent, who have lost once and drawn once since their first meeting.

The winner of the tie will meet the winner of the other semi-final between Cercle Brugge and Westerlo.
