Neil Lennon returns to the Celtic dugout for tonight’s Scottish Premier League trip to St Johnstone.

The Hoops can go five points clear of fierce rivals Rangers if they claim three points at McDiarmid Park, but Lennon is expecting a tough battle with The Saintees.

He told BBC Sport: “We will need a big performance from the players and hopefully we have enough big performances to get us a result.

“It will be a challenge but one which we are looking forward to. We will do as well as we can to try to keep the points in Perth.”

He added: “It's my first game back after a dugout ban, and I hope there is a positive reaction from the players.

“But they have played quite well in the period I have been out."
