Marseille host Toulouse on Sunday knowing that a victory will move them within a point of Ligue 1 leaders Lille.

Didier Deschamps’ side are currently second in the French top flight and are hot on the heels of Lille as they look to retain the championship they won last season.

They received a major boost on Saturday when struggling Monaco upset the table-toppers, 1-0, but Marseille must now capitalise by taking three points against a mid-table Toulouse side at Stade Velodrome.

While Marseille head into this game on the back of three straight victories in the league, most recently beating Lens 1-0, Toulouse will be looking to bounce back from the 1-0 defeat to Montpellier last time out.
