FSV Frankfurt v Bochum live preview

Bochum will aim to gain ground on the 2. Bundesliga’s top two when they visit FSV Frankfurt tonight.

Bochum currently occupy third spot in the German second tier, which would mean a play-off to determine whether or not they would be promoted, but they are just five points behind second-placed FC Augsburg with a game-in-hand.

Out-of-form FSV Frankfurt, meanwhile, are down in 12th place and they are 10 points clear of the relegation zone and eight ahead of the relegation play-off place with seven games remaining.

While Bochum head into this game on the back of back-to-back wins over Alemannia Aachen and Energie Cottbus, FSV Frankfurt will be hoping to end a nine-game winless run that saw them draw 2-2 with SC Paderborn 07 last time out.
