FC Twente will look to maintain their status at the top of the Dutch Eredivisie when they host Roda JC on Sunday.

Twente are two points clear of second-placed PSV Eindhoven heading into the 30th round of fixtures and they will be looking to avoid any slip-up that could allow Fred Rutten’s side to gain the upper hand in the title race.

Roda JC, meanwhile, are seventh in Holland’s top tier but a run for a European place is out of the question with Harm Van Veldhoven’s side well out of the race.

While FC Twente head into this game on the back of a fine run of domestic form, they were thumped 5-1 by Villarreal in the Europa League earlier this week. Roda JC will be looking to make it three wins in a row having edged Willem II, 5-4, in a nine-goal thriller last time out.
