AC Milan coach Massimiliano Allegri has demanded his side return to winning ways when they travel to Bologna on Sunday.
The current Serie A leaders suffered a disappointing 2-0 defeat to Ajax in the Champions League earlier this week and Allegri, whose side had already qualified for the knockout stage was unhappy with his side’s display during that game.
Now he wants his side to show what they are capable of when they visit the Stadio Renato Dall’Ara.
Allegri said: “There was a lack of motivation on behalf of the players. I needed to rest Zlatan Ibrahimovic and there is no substitute for Ibrahimovic.
“But now we must look ahead to the game at Bologna and returning to winning.”
The Rossoneri were 3-0 winners over Brescia in their last domestic outing, extending their unbeaten run to six games, while hosts Bologna are yet to suffer a defeat on home soil.
