Hertha Berlin can go four points clear at the top of 2. Bundesliga when they visit Bochum this evening.
Berlin head to the Ruhrstadion with a one-point lead over second-placed Augsburg, and a victory tonight would put them in a commanding position with just five rounds of fixtures to be played after this one.
Bochum, meanwhile, are also in the promotion race and currently occupy the German second tier’s promotion play-off place, and a win over the leaders would move them level with Augsburg, although they would still remain third on goal difference.
While Hertha Berlin head into this game on the back of a 2-0 win over Padrborn, Bochum are in red-hot form having extended their winning run to three games with a 1-0 win at Frankfurt last time out.
