Forward Pedro believes there is still room for improvement in the Barcelona side as they chase a third straight La Liga crown.
Barca are currently five points clear of Real Madrid with just nine rounds of fixtures remaining in the 2010/11 campaign, and Pep Guardiola’s side are showing no signs of slowing having dominated this season.
But Pedro has sent a chilling warning to both their domestic and European rivals, insisting the team are capable of getting even better.
Speaking ahead of tonight’s trip to Villarreal he told uefa.com: “We are very ambitious as a team. We want to win trophies and we want to continue our development.
“You can always improve with the team. There are tactical things, finishing in front of goal, speed as well.”
While Barcelona head into this game on the back of a 2-1 victory over Getafe, Villarreal ran out 1-0 winners at Athletic Bilbao last time out.
