Levante goalkeeper Gustavo Munua has warned the team there is still much to do in the fight against relegation.
Granotes have surged from bottom of the table to 13th with a superb run of form that has seen them claim four wins from their last five games, with the only defeat coming at the hands of second-placed Real Madrid.
However, Munua believes it would be wrong of Levante to assume their top-flight status is now secure.
The 33-year-old Uruguayan said: “I think everybody has their feet on the ground, because really we haven't achieved anything yet.
“We can win at practically any ground, but if we lose concentration or start thinking we've achieved something, things could go wrong for us. There's still a lot of the season left.
“We're convinced we have the team to achieve our objective and, God willing, at the end of the season we will have achieved it, but it's not easy.
“Everything is all very even, there are many games to go and we need to continue being humble.
“It seemed it would be an achievement to save ourselves, but there is an excellent group here.”
While Levante recorded a 2-1 win over Osasuna last time out, Real Sociedad were thumped 4-1 at Espanyol.
