Barcelona coach Pep Guardiola believes the weekend draw has shown his side how to beat Real Madrid in tonight’s Copa del Rey final.
The two teams played out a 1-1 draw in Saturday night’s La Liga showdown, which was the first of four “El Clasico” showdowns between the fierce rivals over the next three weeks.
And despite seeing his side romp to a 5-0 victory over Madrid in their first leg meeting last November, Guardiola believes he has learnt more lessons from their Bernabeu stalemate.
He said: “We have talked about what happened on Saturday, what was right and wrong, and whatever they (Madrid) do depends on what we do.
“We have to move the ball faster. If we move faster the defence will come later.
“We have talked and we know how to play better to create more chances.”
Guardiola continued: “The match at the Bernabeu is a reference point for us. We did some things well, and others not so well.
“We have to play deeper. We have to be brave and we have to try and win.”
