Osasuna v Atletico Madrid live preview

Football News Staff - 3 Apr 2011
Atletico Madrid captain Antonio Lopez expects he and his team-mates will be forced to work for points at Osasuna tonight.

Atletico’s bid for a place in Europe next season has come off the rails in recent weeks with Quique Sanchez Flores’ side having won just two of their last 10 games.

A win at Osasuna would get their challenge back on track, but several top sides have tripped up at Reyno de Navarra this season, including Real Madrid and Espanyol.

And Lopez said: “It's a very tough ground and all teams suffer there, but we're ready.

“We have to go out with at least the same intensity level as they do. With our quality, we know that we're going to have scoring chances. We have to show our commitment at the Reyno de Navarra.”

While Osasuna head into this game on the back of a 4-0 rout of Hercules, Atletico Madrid were beaten 2-1 by Real Madrid last time out.
