Barcelona v Real Zaragoza live preview

Football News Staff - 5 Mar 2011
Barcelona defender Gerard Pique has urged his team not to let up as they bid for an historic treble.

Barca will bid to overturn a 2-1 deficit in the second leg of their Champions League last-16 tie with Arsenal next week, and they also face a two-legged Copa del Rey final showdown with Real Madrid later this season.

But their focus is on the league this weekend as they look to open up a 10-point lead over Madrid at the top of the standings, and Pique does not want the Catalan giants resting on their laurels.

Speaking ahead of tonight’s visit of Real Zaragoza, the Spain international said: “There are only 12 matches left, but that means there is a lot to play for still.

“If we slip up, Madrid will be right there, so we have to carry on picking up good results.”

While Barcelona moved a step closer to the Spanish crown with a 3-0 win at Mallorca last time out, Real Zaragoza climbed out of the relegation zone with a 2-1 win over Athletic Bilbao.
