Barcelona will look to end a difficult week on a positive note when they host Getafe tonight.
Barca were rocked by the news that defender Eric Abidal had been diagnosed with a live tumour, and later in the week several players underwent “routine” UEFA doping tests after a Spanish radio station claimed the club had links with disreputable doctors.
The Catalan giants are considering taking legal action against the radio station, but for now they must focus on the visit of Getafe as they look to move a step closer to a third successive La Liga title.
And Getafe midfielder Victor Sanchez, on loan from Barca, says his team have their sights set on causing an upset.
He said: “If we do things well and they don't have a good day, Barcelona can be beaten.”
While Barcelona head into this game on the back of a 1-1 draw at Sevilla, Getafe earned a 2-2 draw with Athletic Bilbao last time out.
