Fulham midfielder Simon Davies is poised to finish his career at Craven Cottage after agreeing a new three-year deal.

The 30-year-old Welshman brought his international career to an end recently in a bid to prolong his playing days, and is delighted to have committed his future to the Cottagers.

Davies told the club’s official website: “It’s great now that it’s finally done.

“We’ve been talking for a few months. I’ve loved my time here and it’s been great the last few years.

“I’m just excited for the future and hopefully I’ll finish my career here.”
