Mark Hughes to be named new Fulham manager - report

Football News Staff - 29 Jul 2010

Mark Hughes will be named the new Fulham manager in the next 24 hours, according to BBC Sport.

The Cottagers have spent much of the summer months looking for Roy Hodgson’s successor after he left for Liverpool.

Former Tottenham boss Martin Jol had been their number one target in recent weeks but the Dutchman opted to stay with Ajax, forcing Fulham to look elsewhere.

And it now seems former Wales and Blackburn manager Hughes, who has been out of the game since leaving Manchester City last December, is their man.
