Midfielder Dickson Etuhu has given Fulham a major boost by agreeing to a contract extension.
The 28-year-old has become a permanent fixture in the Cottagers’ midfield since joining from Sunderland in the summer of 2008, forging an impressive partnership with skipper Danny Murphy.
Etuhu played a major role in Fulham’s surprising run to the Europa League final last season, while also represent Nigeria in both the African Nations Cup and World Cup.
A statement on the Cottagers’ website read: “Fulham Football Club is delighted to confirm that Dickson Etuhu has signed a contract extension with the Club that will see the midfielder remain at Craven Cottage until the summer of 2014.”
